Mini......

Cheesecakes ! Who does not love these.... Lets see there are cherry, blueberry and little chocolate ones for those with an extra sweet tooth !

I made these for a get together last week, and they were a hit. So easy and simple too ! Just your typical cheesecake recipe, with a nila wafer for the crust. Yummy....

Melting Pot

I have heard many great things about the Melting pot and finally had the opportunity to share this experience with some really great friends. Just a tip- you get tons of food. We actually split a four course meal for two between the four of us and it was plenty. Also quit the variety for those who do not like red meat or seafood. I personally do not eat pork so I switched out my piece of pork for another piece of salmon.

I wish I would have taken a pic of the dessert tray b/c this was the best part. We chose a traditional pot of chocolate and peanut butter mix with rice krispies, cheesecake, brownies and fruit- All for dipping.

I really recommend this place if not for the food- the experience alone.

Blog slacking

No-really I am not ! I have many updates, and uploads that I would like to add, however my computer is not cooperating. My drive is full, and I am not able to upload any more pictures. I hope to purchase a second hard drive or find another solution to this problem. Even cleaning the drive has not helped, it is just too full !
Thanks for understanding ; }

A Halloween Haunting

Halloween for me is always boring because we do not get any trick or treaters. Mostly this is caused by the layout of our neighborhood, the homes are spread out and we are on a no outlet road. I spent Halloween night at the movies, watching Saw V. This movie was just like all of the previous one's so I doubt I will go see six..... Yes, there will be a six !

Anyway here are a few pics from the Halloween party that we went to. We only had two days notice, so I was in a panic. I went to Halloween USA where every ladies costume was either a short mini skirt or revealing in some other manner. If I wanted to be a hooker this is a great place to purchase a costume !

I ran to Target for a few odds and ends and I saw this dress that reminded me of a scarecrow. A lady scarecrow obviously because how many scarecrows have you seen wearing dresses???

It took me forever to glue the straw on and it was terribly itchy ! I purchased jean looking leggins and painted my face, also attached a black bird to my hair( I did dye the bird- he was white). So I guess my costume was scary scarecrow. It was fun and overall I was happy how my costume turned out, especially given the time crunch !
